Ore wet with dew. Enhances knives, curved swords, spears, and so on.
An ore used to make weapons that take skill to rend enemies. Weapons can be strengthened by Bladestones up to a maximum of level 5. Using Bladestones to enhance a weapon can cause them to become brittle, so exercise caution.

Availability[edit]
Bladestone ore may only be obtained from Skeletons in the Shrine of Storms. Notably, the Pure Bladestone necessary to complete the upgrade path is only attainable as a rare drop from two of the Dual Katana Black Skeletons present in this area (see the table below for their locations). The chances of this dropping are, like all drops, affected by World Tendency; however, a glitch in the game's programming means that if the WT is Black but is not quite yet Pure Black, the odds of the Pure Bladestone drop become astoundingly low - in the area of 0.004%1. As such, ensure your World Tendency is completely black before attempting to farm the Pure Bladestone - otherwise you may never find it!
